A Hybrid Ayurvedic Drug Recommendation System with Generative AI

摘要

Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine originating in ancient India, has a rich repository of classical texts that describe various drugs and formulations for treating different diseases and pharmacological properties. The sources of knowledge are quite diverse and distributed. It ranges from scriptures written on leaves to texts in ancient dialects of Sanskrit. In the recent years there has been extensive efforts to convert the diverse sources of ayurveda literature to a digital format resulting in a structured Ayurveda knowledge base. Looking at these advancements we propose a centralized ayurvedic data hosting and processing of data for variation of use cases for the end users. Upon implementation, it was found that the mean accuracy and response delay were 95.7% and 1.8 s respectively. Thus the proposed model for ayurvedic drug recommendation can be considered to be a scalable and reliable model.
