The usage of natural honey as a nutraceutical agent is tied to the nutritional benefits as well as the therapeutic possibilities that come with it. Numerous studies provide evidence of nutritional profiles, including how they might be used in feeding infants and young children. Honey is a functional food that has been shown to have beneficial benefits on one’s health. The effective antibacterial and anti-biofilm activities of honey referred to as “medical-grade honey,” which is administered topically for the treatment of burns, wounds, and skin problems. Honey is added to a variety of foods and beverages because of its many beneficial characteristics. Honey’s antioxidant properties stop food from oxidizing while it is being stored. Honey inhibits lipid oxidation in meat, making it a useful meat additive for reducing oxidation deterioration. Today, honey is a common ingredient in cosmetics. It serves as a moisturizing agent for both the skin and the water-soluble portion of cosmetic emulsions.
