摘要

The proliferation of ubiquitous and pervasive computing environments and IoT devices has sparked a fundamental shift toward interactive display technologies for group collaborations. With the use of devices like smartphones and gesture recognition systems, the potential for seamless user interfaces on public displays has become a key focus for research. This paper aims to propose a novel framework that facilitates multi-user interaction and collaboration with public displays through the integration of the “Multi-Mouse Framework” and smartphones. The paper presents an extensive literature review and comparative study. The paper utilizes the Multi-Mouse Library of public display groupware to enable control of mouse pointers on public displays via the Mobile-Mouse program. Such a setup enables a range of innovative applications, including collaborative group work and interactive e-learning tools that ultimately serve to save valuable resources such as time and energy. Our findings suggest that the proposed framework represents a significant step forward in the development of next-generation technologies in this exciting research area.
