Discussion on the Pretreatment of Pharmaceutical Wastewater with Graphene-Doped Carbon-Aerogel Electrode

The graphene-doped carbon-aerogel electrode was prepared by mixing the molar ratio of phloroglucin:resorcinol:formaldehyde:graphene aqueous solution:Na2CO3 = 0.125:0.875:2:18:0.0008. Electrochemical treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater by electrodes is composed of graphite, carbon-aerogels, and graphene-doped carbon-aerogels and stainless steel. The results showed that treating pharmaceutical wastewater with GCA-S electrode had the best effect on CODcr, followed by CA-S, and the worst by G-S. It shows that the graphene-doped carbon-aerogel electrode prepared by the above experimental method has a good effect on the electrochemical treatment of medical wastewater.
