Study of a Modifier for Bitumen Compositions from Recycled Solid Waste from Pig Farming

This article discusses the possibility of using organic pig waste as a modifier for petroleum road bitumen, which is used to prepare the hottest asphalt concrete mixtures. The cheese modifier for preparation is obtained using two technologies. The first technology is psychrophilic anaerobic digestion of liquefied pig manure to produce biogas and processed manure. Recycled manure is used as an organic fertilizer and bitumen binder modifier. The second technology is the technology of separating manure into solid and liquid fractions. The liquid fraction can be used as fertilizer. Thanks to the firmness of the parties, they also receive approval after examination in special places or installations. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the possibility of using solid waste from pig farming to modify road bitumen binders. Work has been carried out to obtain the initial modifier using biogas technology and technology for separating manure into solid and liquid groups. The resulting raw material modifier is added to road petroleum bitumen grade BND 100/130 in various proportions. After adding the modifier to the bitumen, the following characteristics were changed: softening temperature using the Ring and Ball method, brittleness temperature using the Fraas method, and change in mass after heating. When testing bitumen with a modifier, it was found that the softening temperature changes slightly, the brittleness temperature decreases by almost 30% and the mass of bitumen after heating changes insignificantly.
