摘要

The corrosion behavior and mechanism of 304 stainless steel in circulating cooling water environment were studied by dynamic electrochemical curve, electrochemical impedance spectrum, and soaking experiment needle. The influence of different chloride ion concentrations on corrosion behavior and mechanism of 304 stainless steel subjected to different heat treatments was analyzed. The results showed the cooling water environment with higher chloride ion concentration resulted in aggravating the corrosion degree of 304 stainless steel, and the corrosion susceptibility to critical chloride ion concentration was greatly related to different microstructures of 304 stainless steels. It was found that tailoring the microstructure via sensitization and solution treatment could improve the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel.
