摘要

Steel slag is mainly derived from steelmaking raw materials and its material analysis reveals that CO2 sequestration can be achieved to some extent. This study analyzed the research trends of steel slag CO2 storage quantitatively from bibliometric analysis, and the data were obtained from the web of science core database from 1990 to August 6, 2023. The results show that steel slag CO2 storage is growing rapidly after 2014, and the country with the highest number of publications is China. The top three funding sources are the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Central University Basic Research Fund, and the China Postdoctoral Fund. The top three research institutions are University of Science and Technology Beijing, Central South University, and Northeastern University and the key areas of steel slag CO2 storage are metallurgy, materials, and environmental science. In addition, the mechanism and research hotspots of CO2 fixation by steel slag carbonation and carbon offset resourceization of steel slag have been thoroughly investigated in this study..
