摘要

To investigate the impact of diffusion annealing process on the microstructure and element distribution of Caldie steel forgings, an analysis was conducted using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and electron probe. Based on the segregation ratios of alloying elements Cr and Mo, the diffusion annealing process for Caldie steel was determined. The results indicate that before diffusion annealing, there were precipitates in the steel with an average grain size of 82 μm, and clear segregation of elements C, Cr, and Mo. With an increase in diffusion annealing time, the precipitates in the steel completely dissolved, and the grain size continued to increase, while the segregation of elements gradually weakened.
