Analysis of Foundation Properties of Anshan-Type Tailings and Waste Rock
摘要
Anshan mine tailings storage capacity is also facing an imminent shortage. In order to comprehensively understand the status quo of waste rock pile and tailings in Anshan stope and obtain the data information of waste rock pile and tailings resources, the basic property research of tailings and waste rock in different stopes of Anshan type was carried out. The results demonstrate that the primary chemical constituents of waste rock samples are SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3. Among these, the highest Fe content in waste rock from the GBS mining site is 14.02%, which predominantly present in the form of hematite. However, the Fe content in waste rock from the other six mining sites is relatively low, which is not suitable for Fe element recovery. The waste rock minerals primarily consist of quartz, with a content of approximately 60%. The secondary minerals predominantly include magnetite, apatite and zircon, accompanied by a certain proportion of non-metallic minerals, which is good high-quality magnetite quartzite tailings and waste rock that can be utilized for the production of concrete aggregate products with various specifications. The tailings at the mining site exhibit a relatively uniform particle size distribution, ranging from − 0.074 to + 0.038 mm, and this is the main distribution area of the Fe element.
