Structural Design of Light Water Reactors
摘要
Components of light water reactors, except for a small number of them, are used at relatively low temperatures and therefore do not undergo creep described in Chap. 3 . This chapter describes primarily an essential design philosophy to assure the structural integrity of components used in the non-creep temperature range. The current design codes provide that the non-creep temperature range is below 375 °C for carbon steels and low-alloy steels and below 425 °C for austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys.
