The Sound Basis for the Research into the Western Zhou Dynasty Bronzes

The book Study on the Phasing and Dating of Bronze Ware in the Western Zhou Dynasty 《西周青铜器分期断代研究》(hereinafter referred to as Phasing and Dating), co-authored by Wang Shimin 王世民, Chen Gongrou 陈公柔 and Zhang Changshou 张长寿, from the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was published by the Cultural Relics Publishing House in late 1999. After reading this work meticulously, I feel deeply that it not only provides a basis for improving the study of the lineage of the Western Zhou, but that it also sheds light on the confusion and difficulties in related studies.
