The famous dialogue in The Confucius Analects: Eight Yi 《论语·八佾》 (Yi means a row of eight persons) was punctuated differently in times past. According to some scholars’ punctuation, Eight Yi has a lot in common with what is recorded in the Book of Rites: Li Yun 《礼记·礼运》.
