An Activity-Based LUTI Model—The ActSim Model

This book focuses on elucidating the principles, architecture, and applications of Land Use-Transport Interaction (LUTI) models. Previous chapters have described the principles and architecture of LUTI models. This chapter and subsequent ones will introduce the construction process of specific LUTI models, which are utilized to simulate the spatial distribution patterns of various urban activities, referred to as the ActSim (Activity distribution simulation) model.
