As research advances and information technology develops, an increasing number of analytical and simulation tools have emerged, facilitating research in the academic community. Although various analytical tools can collectively be referred to as software, there are conceptual differences among development tools (languages), simulation tools, and analysis software. This article introduces and distinguishes common tools, as well as introduces commonly used models and functions.
