Complications in PDEK
摘要
The PDEK graft is created by injecting air into a corneo-scleral button in order to try and obtain a type 1 Big Bubble (BB). This was first described by Harminder Dua [1–8]. The type one BB corresponds to a cleavage plane being formed between the pre-Descemet’s layer (PDL), Descemet’s membrane (DM), and endothelium on one side and the stroma on the other side. Complications can occur while preparing the PDEK graft or during surgery [9–11].
