Copernicus Satellite Data: Terrain Modelling with Python
摘要
The Copernicus system, known as the European Earth Observation Programme, provides the satellite data. One of the goals of this system is to make satellite data accessible to everyone. This technology transfer can only be implemented using open-source systems. Therefore, the Jupyter project and programming language Python support working with the satellite data. We examine how to work with these satellite data. We want to use the data for terrain modelling. Terrain modelling is essential for the construction of a mobile sensor network. In our work, we looked for the answer to whether an application can be written in the Copernicus system which can be used to model the terrain for our sensor network.
