The cryptocurrency is a network-based trading medium that records are safeguarded using strong encryption methods such Message Digest 5 (MD5) and Secure Hash Algorithm 2 (SHA-2). The transactions that take place are secure, transparent, identifiable, and permanent as a result of blockchain technology. These features have seen cryptocurrencies develop more popular across directly every sector, particularly the financial ones. Considering the reality that approval companies have started recognizing cryptocurrencies, the volatile nature and unpredictability related to their prices pose an important threat to financiers. Considering the highly volatile and distinctive qualities of digital currencies, accurate price prediction is essential for creating efficient trading techniques. With the goal to do this, the authors of this study develop an innovative approach that forecasts the value of Bitcoin (BTC), a popular cryptocurrency. The change point detection conduct is utilized for constant prediction performance in observed price range. Time-series data has been separated in particular such that, dependent upon segmentation, normalization may be performed separately. It additionally feasible to gather and utilize on-chain data for input variables for price prediction. The specifics found on the blockchain that are unique to cryptocurrencies are often referred to as “on-chain data.”
