摘要

Near Field Communication (NFC) uses wireless communication over short distances. NFC has been introduced in the Philippines, but there are still security issues. Therefore, the study will focus on the feasibility and vulnerability of an NFC-based mobile payment system for restaurants in the Philippines. Different NFC vulnerabilities have been identified, which are man-in-the-middle, eavesdropping attacks, jamming attacks, DoS attacks, and relay attacks. A survey assessed the subjective norms, perceived utility, ease of use, attitude, and security of NFC. The respondents still prefer cash as a payment method. However, the respondents are willing to use NFC in restaurants in the Philippines.
