摘要

Ethnomedicinal plants are used to treat various diseases, including diabetes, diarrhea, typhoid, and jaundice. This review covers medicinal plants’ qualitative and quantitative analysis using traditional and cutting-edge analytical techniques. It is crucial for understanding medicinal plant analysis in the current global epidemic. Various analytical methods have been documented, such as spectroscopy and chromatography. Bioactive compounds from ethnomedicinal plants are authenticated and standardized using sensitive, adaptable, high-throughput analytical techniques. This review emphasizes how biomarker compounds from ethnomedicinal plants can be evaluated through recent developments in analytical technology. Researchers are working nonstop to discover a way to treat the diseases caused by microorganisms. Both natural and synthetic treatments were used to stop the spread of illness. Numerous medications used to treat the illness are derived from natural sources from ethnomedical plants. Using advanced analytical techniques, a thorough understanding of the importance of ethnomedicinal plants for healing, primary healthcare, and drug discovery is needed.
