A Simulation Method for Offshore Inclined Cylinder Under the Coupling Loads of Wind, Wave and Earthquake

摘要

The aim of this paper is to systematically simulate the structure response of an offshore cylinder under the coupled loads of wind–wave–earthquake based on fluid–structure interaction (FSI) coupling method. The structural responses under the combined loads were compared to that of the single load. Moreover, the impact of inclined angle on the structural dynamic characteristics was also discussed. The results show that, the coupling effect of different kinds of loads is not a simple linear superposition. The total deformation and equivalent stress of an inclined cylinder are larger than that of a vertical cylinder. The proposed analysis scheme could provide more accurate calculation results.
