Research on the Mechanism of Rockburst in Extra-Thick Coal Seams
摘要
In recent years, over 80% of rockburst disasters in mining faces have occurred in extra-thick coal seam mines, and the critical depth of rockburst in extra-thick coal seam mines is much smaller than that in thin and medium-thick coal seam mines. The rockburst in extra-thick coal seams has common characteristics such as high energy release, strong destructiveness, and large rockburst range. According to statistics, the rockburst range of rockburst in thin and medium-thick coal seams generally does not exceed one hundred meters, but the rockburst range of rockburst in extra-thick coal seams can reach nearly one kilometer, indicating that compared with thin and medium-thick coal seams, the destructiveness, rockburst range, and energy release of rockburst in extra-thick coal seams are stronger. This chapter takes the mining of the 32 m extra-thick coal seam in the Xinjiang Liu Huanggou Coal Mine as the background, and studies the mechanism of the lower critical depth and easier impact of rockburst in extra-thick coal seams from the aspects of coal seam physical and mechanical properties, surrounding rock structure, and energy dissipation characteristics.
