The chapter then examines artificial surfaces, meticulously designed structures capable of manipulating waves to concentrate signal strength. The chapter analyzes the role of dielectricDielectric materials in shaping and amplifying radiation patternsRadiation pattern, showcasing techniques like using dielectric lensesDielectric lens and resonators. Additionally, the chapter investigates the Fabry–Perot cavity, a resonantResonant structure utilized to enhance gain within a specific frequency range.
