Augmented Reality Model in Supporting Instruction Process: A Critical Review

This paper aims to examine the essence of augmented reality (AR) model in supporting the instruction process. The literature review from the referred and peer-reviewed articles, such as from the journals, chapters, proceedings, and books, was employed in the related topic of discussion. The finding revealed that the point of AR in giving the support for the instruction process refers to enhance the particular contribution on helping improve the planning, process, and practices on education scenario. The more detail of the main finding pointed out the two key elements, namely enhancing AR in supporting instruction process and facilitating AR with digital-based design for learning instruction. The contribution of this paper aims at enhancing the significant point in assisting the instruction process, from the theoretical basis to the practical orientation procedure in ensuring the supporting system on instruction and education. The implication of this study indicated the need to expand the continued display in monitoring the planning followed by the active practice in helping improve the learning instruction to be more attractive and effective to achieve the planned goal.
