FashionChain: Empowering Fashion SMEs Through Decentralized Supply Chain Solutions
摘要
As the global fashion industry rapidly expands and its market size continually grows, supply chain management has become an indispensable role within it. In the competitive modern fashion market, collaboration and joint efforts among different companies are key to profitability. Fashion supply chain is characterized by its many small and medium enterprises like workshops, designers and manufacturers working independently and fragmentedly, the exploration and development of digital supply chain management technologies become particularly significant. This study aims to leverage the innovative features of blockchain technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of data within the fashion supply chain, while also reducing hardware, software, and labor costs for businesses. We have designed and implemented a prototype fashion supply chain management system, FashionChain, based on blockchain technology, integrating a monitoring framework within this system to record and monitor changes in hardware activities. Subsequently, we conducted stress tests and reliability assessments on the system using JMeter and scripts, with results indicating that our system can securely and completely record supply chain transactions, including big file and images, while maintaining stable performance. This research provides a solid theoretical and practical foundation for future optimization and applications in the industry.
