iFCVP: An Integrated FCNP-VWA-PROMETHEE Method for On-Demand Charging Scheduling in WRSNs

摘要

Although efficient charging scheduling schemes which introduced the integrated MCDM methods are being developed for WRSNs, AHP or FAHP using a pairwise ratio scale is adopted in weight allocation to magnify the actual pairwise difference between multi-criteria, or even when FCNP using a pairwise interval scale is employed weight compensation is not taken into account. In this article, we propose a new charging scheduling method based on an integrated FCNP-VWA-PROMETHEE named iFCVP. This method first assigns the weights to multi-criteria characterizing the charging request nodes (RNs) with FCNP using a pairwise interval scale and compensates them with VWA to make more accurate weights. Then, the BS uses these weights to choose the most suitable next charging location with PROMETHEE. While determining the charging order, the partial charging time (pCT) at the selected locations is reasonably determined using the weights assigned by FCNP-VWA by considering the trade-off between the performance metrics. The extensive simulation results show that the network lifetime of the proposed method is 256.7%, 264.7%, and 283.6% longer compared to AHP-PROMETHEE, FAHP-PROMETHEE, and FAHP-VWA-PROMETHEE schemes for 500 sensor nodes, respectively.
