Dynamic Optimization

Dynamic optimization problems (DOPs)Dynamic optimization problem have attracted more and more interest in recent years. On the one hand, there are numerous real-world optimization problems that exhibit dynamic characteristics. On the other hand, compared with traditional static optimization problems, DOPs are inherently challenging and difficult to solve. This chapter mainly introduces some dynamic handling methods, formulations of dynamic optimization problems, and some measure indicators for performance comparison. Finally, challenges for future research are discussed for future work.
