The readiness of digital technologies is a critical factor in the agricultural sector transformation. The landscape and categories of technologies used in agriculture significantly vary across countries. This chapter delves into the case of India and Japan, their unique agritech categories, potential, and policies enabling the sprouting of agritech startups that develop them.
