Arithmetic Operations on Fuzzy Numbers

In this chapter, we review the concepts of fuzzy numbers and their properties, which expand the notions and the applicability of fuzzy sets. It also discusses the extension of binary operations and their properties. In this chapter, we have displayed how the extension principle be applied to carry out our arithmetic operations between fuzzy numbers along with the interval fuzzy arithmetic together with illustrative examples and graphs based on the theories.
