Decomposition of a Fuzzy Set and Extension Principle

This chapter incorporates the decomposition of a fuzzy set, resolution identity, extension principle for one and multiple fuzzy sets, a product of two or more fuzzy sets, inverse image, and pre-image of a fuzzy set under a mapping. We will demonstrate the proofs of three fundamental decomposition theorems of fuzzy sets.
