Fundamental Concepts of Fuzzy Sets

  • Manoranjan Kumar Singh

摘要

Under the caption: “Anatomy and Taxonomy of Fuzzy Sets,”—the need for fuzzy sets is justified in this chapter. Fuzzy sets are needed where the boundaries between its members and non-members are smooth and not sharp. The extent to which an element is a member of a fuzzy set is known as its membership value. It deals with the fundamentals of fuzzy sets, standard operations, and properties of fuzzy sets, plenty of examples, related graphs, and some valuable theorems on its associated aspects. In this chapter, we have provided the proof of all the set-theoretic laws.
