摘要

Nutrigenomic is a multidisciplinary field of study that combines knowledge from physiology, pathology, genetics, molecular biology, and nutrition to determine how ingested nutrients affect the expression and regulation of genes. Nutritional genomics is the most recent branch of science that examines the connection between genes, nutrition, and health. It investigates how nutrients affect the genome, proteome, and metabolome in their whole. Nutrigenomics describes how food affects genes and alters gene expression, frequently prominent in noncommunicable disorders such as cancer. On the other hand, nutri-informatics is a brand-new field of bioinformatics that integrates massive amounts of data from dietary research into a rigid context of nutritional systems biology. To comprehend the interactions between an organism and its environment, we propose that nutri-informatics, an emerging subject, may bridge the gap between nutritional biochemistry, nutritional physiology, and metabolism. Studies reveal the information to combine data from patient surveys, electronic health records (EHRs), mobile applications, wearable technology, and many more tools to infer optimum health recommendations. Nutri-informatics is an important measure that frequently falls under clinical nutrition.
