An Optimized Machine Learning Model for Crop Yield Predication by Applying Weighted Ensemble Technique

Ensemble learning can help to improve machine learning models’ prediction results by integrating the results of multiple models. Individual machine learning models are combined to form a single prediction model which reduces variance and bias using collective learning approaches and improves predictability. This paper discusses calculation of weight to be used in the ensemble model. Solving of objective function to get the optimum weight for each model. The paper proposes an Optimized Machine Learning Model by Applying Weighted Ensemble Technique. The comparison of average ensemble model is carried out with proposed model. The proposed model shows tentatively 6% more accuracy of prediction and 6% less error.
