Aspergillosis
摘要
The chapter is an overview of zoonotic aspergillosis. It includes taxonomy and morphology addressed in brief. The key aspects of pathogenesis and clinical features are written, drawing a parallel between human and zoonotic aspergillosis. It includes conventional and newer laboratory diagnostic modalities available for human aspergillosis and challenges in their application and lacunae in optimum utilization in zoonotic diagnosis. Therapeutic management of some of the important clinical conditions is mentioned. It concludes with the use of antifungal drugs for commercial reasons and its impact on one health.
