Analysis of Networking Within a Complex Technological Ecosystem
摘要
In today’s digital era, a plethora of foundational applications, models, and tools span diverse fields such as natural language processing, computer vision, and biology, forming a Complex Technological Ecosystem. This ecosystem permeates daily life and the Internet, driving innovation and progress in computer science and artificial intelligence. Consequently, it has led to significant advancements in both living standards and technological development. Using a database sourced from a website that monitors this foundational model ecosystem, a visual network representation has been created using asset names, asset types, and their dependencies with the help of the NetworkX library and matplotlib. This paper delves into various metrics of this network, examining both overarching and local perspectives through the lens of network science. Analyses include degree behaviour, clustering coefficient, community structure, and network stability. Furthermore, insights into the future research trends and focal points within the ecosystem are discussed. Based on the findings, individuals can pinpoint pivotal and trending assets for innovation, offering a clear trajectory for future technological endeavours.
