The suggested smart traffic signal management system monitors traffic conditions through real-time video analysis by utilizing image processing and object detection algorithms. The system can then forecast the time required to clear traffic and adjust signal timings as necessary by using these data to estimate vehicle counts and density. A significant component of the system prioritizes the flow of emergency vehicles by quickly recognizing their presence and modifying signals to allow for their quick passage. This life-saving function shortens response times in emergency circumstances by giving the emergency vehicle a clear road to its destination with the least amount of traffic.
