Robust Indoor Localization
摘要
The advent of the Internet of Things era has sparked a growing interest in indoor localization. Among the various technologies available, Wi-Fi fingerprint-based localization has emerged as a mainstream solution. However, RSS (radio signal strength) fingerprints face significant challenges, such as spatial ambiguity and temporal instability, mainly due to multipath effects and environmental dynamics. These issues have hindered the performance and broader real-world deployment of such systems. Previous pioneering efforts have attempted to overcome these limitations, but often at the expense of ubiquity, relying on additional information or imposing extra user constraints.
