摘要

Location-based services exploit location information to provide a variety of fancy applications. For instance, E-911 in the USA (correspondingly E-112 in Europe) tries to help the caller of an emergency call as soon as possible by locating him or her through GPS. Besides, applications that notify users the nearby places of interest (such as the nearest hospital, restaurant, store, etc.) can facilitate daily life. While attractive quality-of-life enhancing applications are presented by location-based services, new threats are also brought in. Among these threats, perhaps the most important one is the intrusion of location privacy.
