摘要

Some bioplastics are environmentally friendly and some can be composted under the right conditions. Produced using sustainable sources, bioplastics can be easily reused in natural cycles, limiting the use of non-renewable energy sources and protecting the climate. Bioplastics are generally biodegradable and biocompatible. Bioplastics are needed in many modern applications such as food packaging, agriculture, soil treatment, and cleaning. Bioplastics are also used in biomedical, medical, electrical, and other custom products. As the demand for plastic use grows around the world, much research is being done to explore environmentally friendly materials and better approaches to managing them. This section focuses on improving bioplastic synthesis strategies and applications. Several studies on composite scaffolds have been performed because bioplastics have some drawbacks in terms of mechanical and occlusive properties. The drawbacks were examined and analyzed in order to determine if bioplastic composites were appropriate for use in food packaging. This article is about food packaging materials and biomass used as food packaging materials. In addition, plastics, paper, metals, and glass are also being considered as potential materials. Each substance will be discussed in terms of strengths and weaknesses. The study also explores fuel consumption and the development of environmentally friendly materials such as starch/polylactide acid used in food packaging.
