Analyzing Barriers of Sustainable Healthcare Waste Management Using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Technique

The current study sheds light on the numerous approaches that are utilized in the healthcare industry for the proper disposal of trash, collection of waste, and treatment of waste. As a result of this, various obstacles have been categorized according to the effects they have and the origins from where they originated. The primary objective is to compile a list of the obstacles that are encountered during the treatment of healthcare waste. Once we have done so, we will choose which of these obstacles is the most desirable and should be eliminated based on either the current or the future acceptance. Once that is complete, we will work on the development of sustainability on the same process, as well as incorporating the rules of circular economy, in order to construct a healthcare waste management system that is sustainable.
