Fluorescence Nanosensors for Monitoring Blood Clotting Disorders
摘要
Fluorescence nanosensors are nanoscale sensors that offer high sensitivity, specificity, and rapid detection of biomolecules within living cells. Fluorescence nanosensors have undergone significant development in the detection of blood clotting factors, enhancing their potential for clinical diagnosis. Various fluorescence nanosensors for blood clotting detection have been developed till now. Fluorescent labeling techniques have drastically improved thrombosis monitoring by using fluorophores to track clot molecules and cells, enabling the quantitative measurement of multiple targets simultaneously. Thrombin is the principal clotting factor that plays a central role in the regulation of blood clotting process, thus serving as the key biomarker for the detection of blood clotting. In this chapter, we have discussed different types of fluorescence nanosensors designed to detect thrombin, which directly monitor blood clotting disorders.
