Fluorescent Probes for Gasotransmitters (H2S, CO, and NO) Detection
摘要
Gasotransmitters (GTs), e.g., carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and nitric oxide (NO), are endogenously fabricated gases, inducing inimitable signaling responses in the “cellular systems,” and the generation of these gaseous molecules is regulated in mammals enzymatically. It has been reported in the scientific literature that GTs are allied with a myriad of biological functions. Therefore, it is of high demand to foster the sensitive and distinctive techniques to detect such vital biological messengers. In this particular chapter, we shade light onto the detection of GTs by means of fluorescent probes. Hopefully, the readers will enjoy this particular chapter and will get opportunities to further advance this emerging research topic to advanced level in many years to come.
