Probability-Based Political Risk Assessment in the Belt and Road Investment

China seeks the cooperation with the countries along the Belt and Road and has made great achievements in policy coordination, facilities connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people bond. However, there are also potential risks associated with these collaborations, which are closely related to the political conditions of the countries along the Belt and Road. Therefore, in this chapter, we will employ hesitant fuzzy information to analyze the potential political risks of the four countries mentioned in previous cases. By utilizing the methods introduced in Chaps. 2 and 3 , we aim to demonstrate the effectiveness and rationality of the probability-based decision-making approach presented in this book.
