摘要

Breast reconstruction is vital for women who have undergone mastectomy or have breast deformities. Autologous fat grafting offers a natural and minimally invasive approach, but fat survival remains a challenge. This research explores bio-scaffolds in breast reconstruction to optimize outcomes. Bio-scaffolds promote tissue regeneration, creating a supportive environment for transplanted fat. They stimulate angiogenesis, enhance tissue growth, and provide mechanical support, improving fat graft survival and aesthetic results. Types of bio-scaffolds, mechanisms, clinical applications, and factors influencing selection are discussed. Evidence-based medicine is emphasized, along with clinical outcomes and potential complications. Future directions in bio-scaffold research are explored, advancing breast reconstruction. This research provides plastic surgeons with a comprehensive understanding of bio-scaffolds’ role in breast reconstruction, enabling informed decision-making for optimal outcomes.
