Agriculture is a major sector which is vital for the survival of modern man. Agriculture must embrace a digital, connectivity-fuelled transformation in order to overcome increasing demand and several disruptive forces. The major reason for the downfall in the agriculture practice is due to less crop yield. Also with the rapid development of human civilization it is important that food production should increase. As a result, modern agricultural development is critical because traditional agricultural methods cannot increase crop yields. Overuse of fertilizers and pesticides harms the crop and is the primary cause of lower crop yield and unhealthy agricultural practices. Soil analysis is an important process to determine the available plant nutrients in the soil. Plants absorb the major nutrients through soil. This project aims to control overuse of chemical fertilizers by suggesting the amount of fertilizers to be used for a specific crop and create a prediction engine for most suitable crop for a particular soil.
