Vignette: Critical Systemic Reflections on Narratives at Writer’s Week

Stories are the constructs by which we live our lives. Do we tell ourselves positive or negative stories? Stories flow from our interpretations of the world. We have little chance of making a difference if we focus only on dread without hopeful pathways away from the abyss and if we focus on the negative, rather than telling stories of hope and being change agents by walking the talk. A meditation on a day listening to writers talk about their work and perspective on life prompted me to follow threads of connections.
