Reflections on Dynamics and Displacement: Implications for Systemic Governance Food, Energy and Water Security

Just as symbiosis exists in the natural world we will need to support one another as we face displacement and change. This essay works at the margins of many ways of knowing to explore the dynamic nature of the ground beneath our feet. The air and earth sustain us and we owe our origins to molten dynamics beneath the earth and ocean. I sketch the importance of spirituality and link it to insight, expressed as ‘Eureka’ moments of enlightenment in religion, the arts, humanities and sciences. The appreciation of the oneness of a dynamic lifeforce (energy) that links organic and inorganic mass is glimpsed.
