Thermal Shock Behavior and Ablation Corrosion Mechanisms of MA-SiBCN Materials
摘要
Long term stability of metastable ceramics and their ceramic matrix composites (CMCs) at high-temperatures is one of the great challenges for the modern aviation and aerospace technology developments. Up to present, increasing demands on higher engine power density, lower emissions and longer lifetime have imposed great challenges on the durability and reliability of the advanced aero- and space-engines due to the increased mechanical and thermal loading. Multicomponent ceramics such as SiBCN system gain a lot of interest for high temperature applications due to their higher stability of the 3-D amorphous covalent network structure.
