Recent international interest in medicinal wild plants and herbs has developed due to their abundance of bioactive components and their potential health benefits, which have frequently been recognized for generations. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 80% of the world’s population utilises traditional medications, such as herbal medicine, to cure ailments before contemplating mainstream pharmaceuticals. Cancer is among the life-threatening illnesses that pose a significant challenge in both emerging and wealthy nations. The need for innovative strategies to avoid this illness is rising. This chapter will examine the antiproliferative effects of chia, pear, and hawthorn seeds, as well as their chemistry and pharmacology.
