Strategies to Control Cancer by Chinese Cabbage and Anise Seed

Cancer, being a multiphase approach and portrayed by sporadic differentiation of cells, often penetrates and damages the healthy neighbouring cells inside the body, therefore causing an additional degree of inequality. There are multiple causative agents, for example, tobacco smoking, exposures to various hazardous chemicals, or some dietary factors present in the environment, due to which cancer is developed. During the course of cancer treatment, some regulated regimens added version of serious issues by inducing growth resistance towards the meditative agents. To overcome this problem of chemical way of therapy, we need to find an alternative advent with more practical and less risky medication. Here, the natural product plays most effective role. Different combinations of green sources either in the form of herbs or any other origin provide a valuable entry for the employment and screening of contemporary therapeutic mediators. Most of plant community in the world bear numerous multibeneficiary phytometabolites, including both the primary and secondary metabolites. Thus, the interest of herbal drugs from green source over artificial synthetic medicine has inflated the necessity of medicinal plants within the field of cancer. Various human health promoting plants are famed to possess metastatic tumour activity; among them 2 necessary members are Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa subsp.) and Anise Seed (Pimpinella anisum L.) that show wonderful anti-carcinogenic ways to manage numerous kinds of cancer. Isolated phytocompounds from these two plant sources avert the process of cancer commencement, advancement, and development by showing high antioxidant efficacy that mainly alters the cancer pathway by affecting various signalling pathways. Overall, this chapter presents a comprehensive endeavour that has been created through this study so as to focus on the active phytochemicals from the chosen plant species and their analogues established as anti-cancer agents either in vivo or in vitro using animal models for these studies and their regulative aspects.
