The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games: LIFT Impact Partners
摘要
In this chapter we explore the evolution of the social legacy-focused organization “2010 Legacies Now2010 Legacies Now (2010LN)” (2010LN) from the VancouverVancouver 2010 Games. In the pre-Games phase, 2010LN utilized an interactive governance model to foster collaboration among regional stakeholders. Following the conclusion of the event, the organization transformed into LIFTLIFT Impact Partners (LIFT) and shifted to a self-governance mode to expand positive social impacts across the country. The study underscores the importance of recognizing the need for evolution in a governance system as a legacy organization experiences change throughout event phases. The findings contribute insights into effective social legacy governance for mega sport events.
